Activated Carbon Air Purification Filter Paper

Activated carbon air purification filter paper is a new type of air purification filter paper substrate independently developed by Yixing Fuluotai Industrial Development Co., Ltd.; it is a multifunctional, environmentally friendly paper-based filter material formed by combining a fibre substrate with high-surface-area activated carbon and moulding it on a specialised paper machine, offering both physical interception and chemical adsorption capabilities.

Using activated carbon air purification filter paper as the raw material, subsequent processing steps-including folding into corrugated sheets, forming corrugated blocks, slicing, and chemical spraying-produce activated carbon air purification filter media. This is primarily used to remove particulate matter and gaseous pollutants such as formaldehyde, VOCs and odours from the air. The basic production process involves mixing and pulping wood pulp, cotton pulp and synthetic staple fibres; this is then combined with auxiliary materials such as coconut shell or wood-based activated carbon powder (plus dispersants and retention aids) and formed on a special paper machine.
