Wool paper for calender roll (also known as calender roll paper) is a core industrial paper developed by our company specifically for soft calender rolls (wool paper rolls). It is manufactured using high-purity cotton pulp and wool as raw materials, through a specialised papermaking process.

As a key filling material for soft calender rolls, this product, thanks to its unique fibre structure and extremely high fibre aggregation, imparts excellent elasticity, wear resistance and thermal stability to the roll surface; It enables stable control of calendering pressure under high-speed, high-pressure conditions, effectively enhancing the smoothness and gloss of finished products such as paper and fabric whilst maintaining a good hand feel; simultaneously, it helps protect the metal roller surface from damage to a certain extent, making it an indispensable key consumable in the calendering production of high-end paper and fabric products.

Technical specifications: Wool content of calender roll paper is 10%–18%; calender rolls manufactured primarily from this paper can achieve a surface hardness (Shore D) of 87–88 degrees.
