Cotton pulp paper for supercalender roll serves as the key filling material for soft calender roll in supercalenders. The product is thick, dense, rigid, wear-resistant, heat-resistant and highly elastic, specifically designed for 'high-pressure, high-temperature and high-speed' calendering.

Supercalender roll manufactured from this substrate are specialised equipment used in the deep processing of speciality papers such as coated paper, glassine paper and fruit bag paper.

The raw material consists of 100% degreased cotton pulp, with α-cellulose content ≥95%, ensuring high purity and low impurity levels. It is processed into supercalender paper roll (cotton roll) for use in alternating pressure with metal hard roll. The paper roll exhibit excellent overall performance, offering advantages such as good elasticity, moderate hardness, a dense and wear-resistant body, a long service life, good heat resistance and strong dimensional stability.

The roll surface is fine and uniform, with high structural strength and outstanding fatigue resistance; it is resistant to deformation, flaking and damage even during prolonged high-speed calendering. During calendering, super-calender paper roll can withstand prolonged operation at high temperatures (80–120°C) without softening or becoming sticky; they exhibit low dimensional change under varying humidity conditions and maintain stable roll diameters.

Technical specifications: The cotton pulp paper used for super calender paper roll contains 100% degreased cotton pulp; super calender paper roll manufactured primarily from this material achieve a surface hardness (Shore D) of 88–90 degrees.
